Frenchies come to visit

In early May, the Frenchies - Andra, Jean Marc and Anna - made a stop in Wilmington on their whirlwind US tour.  It was wonderful having them here with us for the weekend and we had a nice mix of action and laziness.   More pics here.

California

At the end of April, we made one of my work trips to San Diego into a mini family vacation.  It was awesome (even though I did have to work a few days) given neither Jackson nor I had ever been to that part of CA before.  We did a lot in 9 days!  Cornado, Lego Land, Sea World, San Diego vs. Brewers, Angels game, Disneyland and Disney Adventure, La Jolla beach, visited Adam's UW-Madison roommate, Lance, and his family and San Diego zoo.  TONS more pics here.

Cherry Blossoms

In early April, we took a day trip down to DC to see the cherry blossoms for the first time.  We parked right down by the Tidal Basin and had a nice morning walking around the basin and seeing some of the monuments, including new ones like the Martin Luther King monument that we had never seen before. Even though the blossoms weren't that impressive, it was a great day!

We also went to see the cherry blossoms in our park and they were in full force!

Jackson Pollack II

Since we can't keep every piece of Jackson's artwork, we thought we would snap some photos of some of them before they went to art heaven.  We would like to think he made the "Bean Art" for his little Butter Bean sister.

Easter 2013

This could very well be the longest amount of time I've gone without a proper post.  So, let's rewind the clock to the end of March when Grandpa and Grandma Porter came for an Easter visit.

We went to Mr. Bill's music class......

And made chick eggs (at least Momma and Grandma did), colored Easter eggs, went on an Easter egg hunt in the backyard, had Easter dinner with Katie, Andy, baby Anne, Amanda and Paul and of course played baseball with Grandpa!

Throwback Thursday

When the boys are away, momma has a chance to clean up all of her photos and comes across photos like this that make me go "Woowzers!  Where does time (and hair) go?"

It's Keane's 10 year anniversary, so they've put together a #KEANEMAP so fans can record their memories of the band.  Check out our entry here.
